I am so conflicted with posting this post.

It goes against everything I am about, and I know that I may lose some of you guys from it... but I must tell you all some things.

First of all... I love you all but I might be closing this blog down once the sponsors have had a good go at being sponsors, and I will not stop posting until the end to give them that good go but I have come to realize that while this blog is about me it is a lot about being a wife, and I am not one anymore... and honestly I never felt like one. It is also about being a wife to a military man, and hell that was the only thing true to life I ever felt... PTSD, Visions, Paranoia and all that stuff... Deployments, anger, and constant his way.. He is a good man.. just not the good man I need or want. From day one of my marriage I found myself being very shielded from my loved ones and this blog... My ex-husband was very controlling, and I know I have never talked about that before but it is true. He did not want his name on here let alone mine, He did not want our photos on here. He did not like this blog.. and I must tell you that it all hurt me so much that I tried to just close that out, and paint a picture of happy family. WE were not.

For the next thing.. this move I am making is for a good friend of mine, someone that has been in my life for over 5 years... and while we have always been at the wrong time and place in life. I know in my heart of hearts that I love this man. Now I know what you are all thinking... this is a rebound. No! My ex-husband and I since our marriage have only been together for 30 days total. Sad huh... Very.

This whole post might be hard to read because it jumbled, and written through a tear face but I will try hard to explain it all to you in time... just be patient.

I am ok.. Every day is a new bright day, and Ive gotten through cancer I know I can this.
I know last week was very bland here, and I appreciate every single sweet comment I got.. I am trying to respond to each one that will allow me to.

Why did you get into blogging?
I got into blogging for a creative outlet. To me blogging is a way to express myself and document memories all at the same time. I read blogs for a long time before I finally decided to make the jump to writing my own. And I honestly can't understand now what took me so long.

What made you want to be a Nurse?

I can remember when I was little and people always asked what do you want to be? I always said doctor or journalist. Random combination I know. I honestly decided that Nursing was what I wanted to do after I realized exactly how long it takes to complete medical school, residency, and fellowship.That is entirely too much school for me. (Although I plan to apply to go back for my Masters in the fall)

I had a somewhat unrealistic or fairytale idea of what a Nurse did. Once I got started in school I quickly realized that patients can be mean and some can be totally rude but there are some that make your day. Some patients and their families I will never forget and that makes me love my profession more each day. God had a plan that was bigger than my own plans so he certainly knew what he was doing putting me in the Nursing field.

The 3 things you would tell someone visiting your city?

I would tell them... 1. Please let me know when you come through because I love to meet new friends. 2. No matter how horrendous our accent may sound - all Mississippians are not under-educated hicks.3. Eat. Eat all you can because Mississippi has some great food. And surprisingly Jackson has some really great restaurants. Jackson even has one vegan restaurant if you can believe it!

What are your 5 go to items? (You always have them)

One. My pillow. I love to sleep. Day or night. I love naps they make life better.

Two. The iPhone of course. Technology is spoiling. I wouldn't function well without my camera, clock, alarm clock, email, social media - all in one place. ha.

Three. The TV. I watch an obscene amount of TV. I could probably fund the TiVo/DVR companies just from my usage alone.

Four. A Debit Card. I very rarely have cash on me. And even if I do it's only a few dollars.

Five. Chapstick or Kleenexes. Kleenexes are slightly more random than the other option although both are true. But the boyfriend likes to make jokes that I have multiple boxes of kleenex tissues in every room. I do not however. His eyes sometimes play tricks on him.

On Pinterest what do you mainly pin?

I have entirely too many pins. Before pinterest was invented I emailed all these amazing things to myself so I would remember them and then the amazing creation of time consumption was developed and I have wasted many a hour on there. My favorite two boards are the Recipe board and the Quotes board. Along with the Humor board.

Favorite outfit when you are not head to toe in scrubs?

I don't dislike scrubs but it is certainly nice to dress up every now and then. I wear black a lot. I have multiple LBDs that range from casual to dressy. I also wear jeans and some type of tee quite often. Sometimes with a t-shirt and flip-flops, other times with boots and a cute sweater.

Again while most of you guys are busy doing what you are LOVING things ... I am busing HATING things today...

Basically what I am hating is feeling like crap.. so I HATE cancer.

I am going to take the time today to share with you some symptoms of Ovarian Cancer... in hopes of saving some lives, and making people more aware.

Cancer can happen to anyone.. at any age on any day of any month... No one is immune and being aware of your body is the difference between life and death.

The signs/symptoms of ovarian cancer are:

.. A swollen or bloated abdomen.
.. Pressure or pain in the abdomen, pelvis, back, or legs.
.. Feeling very tired all of the time.
.. Feeling the need to urinate frequently.
.. Nausea, indigestion, gas, constipation, and diarrhea.
.. Heavy or unusual periods. .. Feeling full all of the time.
.. A loss of appetite.

Now you are not limited to the above nor is it possible to have all of them.. but just to be clear I have had them all in stages.

So again.. HATE cancer.

LOVE life.

So you all know that recently my blog under went a major change, and the name switched.
Well that is not all...

I was contacted on Friday by my news channel and they want to use me, and my blog for a segment! Wow!!!
Right after me accepting... I noticed 2 things disturbing things about blogger...

1. Blogs I follow, and enjoy reading are not showing up at all ... Not in my feed anymore.
2. Posts are disappearing EVERY DAY! Since Friday I have lost 10. :(

I will be making a switch to WordPress ... By this time next month.

Commenters On My Blog

Good Sunday to you all...
I know a lot of you are either doing your Church thing or Super Bowl thing.. or Maybe both today.. but if you happen across my blog you will be reading another RANT.

I have blogged 603 times, and this will be my 604th post. I like to blog, and it gives me a chance to learn new things, meet new people, and express myself.

I comment on peoples blog to tell them "Hey! I read your post and I enjoyed it" .. Even if it is one word.. "Awesome" it is how I feel about the post.

So to all the commenters out there... Blog owners or just commenters ...

1. Do not comment on blogs asking the owner to join your giveaway.
2. Do not comment on blogs asking the owner to check you out.
3. Do not comment on blogs and not have a reply email address attached.
4. Do not comment and not have read the actual post.
5. Have manners, and be nice.

Be sure to pay attention to things you say. I reply to every single comment I get. I am the owner of my blog, and I approve comments but I deny many as well. You can disagree with me sure but do not disagree with me with no reply email, and do not expect me to approve your pushy comments about joining or checking you out.

Bloggers Part 2

So you all know how I got on my little "What bloggers do to upset me" rant...
Well there is more...

1. Comments- Why must you make it to where I have to go to a new page just to comment on your post? I mean I don't want to hit the back button ... Have a pop up comment window and make my life and others easier.

2. Long posts- It is ok to post multiple times. You can do 3 link ups and have a different post for each one. When you link up you include the link to that post so it is not going to get lost among your others.

3. Not replying to comments is rude. If I take the time out of my life to say something nice to you the least you can do is send a reply saying Thank you. You bitch about no reply commenters and when you have the chance to comment to a person with a reply email you refuse. Condescending? Yes!

4. Uppity, Snooty, and "My ~~shit~~ crap don't stink" bloggers... Really? Just because you are/were in a Sorority, and have a Coach purse means nothing. We are all the same here in the real world. I am a Sori gal, and yes thanks to my amazing man have a Coach purse... but I rarely flaunt what I have. Why do you? Fashion is important... but when you are doing fashion posts why not say well if you want a more affordable look alike here is a great example from.... Not everyone is a College grad or has a high paying job.. Lets be a little more respectful. (I know at times I should be too)

5. Fakeness ... Your life is not that happy every single day. Lets be real. This is something for you to gain from not lie to. (Oh and I will admit that being sick does make you want every single day to happiness and rainbows.)

and it was amazing. I loved every moment. I laughed and cried. It is a great read, and I encourage anyone to read it.

I REALLY do love my girls. We have the most fun. Are always there for each other. Know how to pick each other up when we are down. Come up with silly quotes and inside jokes. Are always snapping photos of each other.

Hey guys!!

So early in the week via instagram I showed everyone my purple fingers. I will show you all that again now!

Btw I do a base coat, 2 color coats and 1 top coat each time I do my nails. I use petroleum jelly around my nails for easy clean up of mistakes. I spray my nails with cooking spray so they do not smudge.
Before hand I use cuticle oil, and lotion.

Worst Date EVER!

So this is todays topic. Worst date ever.
You know how earlier I told you my husband had nothing to do with my best date... well it should come as a relief to you all that he had nothing to do with my worst one ever. This date however did occur the day before he asked me to dinner for our first of dates.
This guys name is David. Worst date partner ever.
He picks me and we go to Hooters. Now just for a moment I want to tell you all that I hate Hooters. I hate those god awful socks with those bulky white shoes all the way to their fake spray on tans...
So he picks me up to take me to Hooters. Here we are at Hooters, and we are talking about NOTHING.. I am breathing the only thing happening at this table.. Well besides him breathing which at that point on the date I could have cared less.
So the worst starts to happen when He orders my drinks, and food. Like Im 5. (Im not 5 on this date by the way) I could have ordered my own stuff... He then proceeds to grab the butt of our waitress... Now this is where I start talking.
I ask...
Why did you bring me here? I like this place babe. I don't
Why did you grab her butt? You are on a date with me. That is her job to accept my attention like that. Don't feel bad babe I will grab yours later. Wait whoa what? You will not grab my butt Mr. Man
Its her job? ITS HER JOB! Well it is my job to leave now.
I walk several doors down to another restaurant where my friend works. Ate and got a ride home.
He is still a jerk in my mind, and btw I said a few choices other words and things in that conversation with him.. but I thought Id make it less colorful for you guys!
Yes my husband knows this story. He laughs hearing it, and is not jealous.

Best Date

So yesterday was the first day of the link up with Neely for the Fab Valentines Challenge and I missed it so I will do this today, as well as todays topic.

The best date I ever had is not with my husband. I know all of you are wondering how in the world is that possible but our engagement story is just that.. it is not in my brain a date.. and since we spent so little time together before that .. dates good or bad were slim.

So my best date... Was with a guy I know named Taylor. Taylor picked me up one night spur of the moment (I was 20 btw) and we went on a picnic and fished. He had the whole spread done. It was night time on a dock.. and just very beautiful and romantic. He knew that I was not some over the top girl all the time and that this country song date was just enough to keep me happy ... for the rest of my life.

Yes my husband knows this story.
Yes he is jealous. haha

Hey there y'all, How are you guys?

I've been thinking about some things... and I am going to talk to you guys about the things that bother me with some bloggers and their blogs. This is not saying I am perfect or that I am doing nothing wrong with my blog.

1. Music-- If you have music on your page that automatically starts it scares the ~~shit~~ crap out of me because I am not expecting it.. and I will not want to come back to your page. If you must have music on your page please allow me to start it myself.

2. Word Verification-- Really? ... If you don't know why I don't like this apparently you don't comment very often.

3. Word Verification and Comment Approval-- One or the other. If you are afraid of trolls and spam and that is why you allow word verification ok that is fine then take down comment approval .. and if you want to screen your comments first... take down word verification. One is fine two is ridiculous.

4. Crazy fonts-- Ok you may like them. But do you read your blog often? You probably don't .. so you don't know how hard it is to read. Its hard to read.

5. Colors-- Get a color scheme. Some colors just do not go right together. If you can not afford to decorate your room by a professional then go wise and get a premade free site, and install it.

Those are the top things that really get me..

I hope I didn't sound too bitchy!

So.. I am currently reading Between, Georgia by Joshilyn Jackson

I really have enjoyed it so far.

You laugh, and you cry during this book.

Typical southern.

I must say I that while it having some colorful moments and just heart-string pulling family moments this has book has been a fast, fun, easy and lite read. I would recommend it.

I can not wait to finish!

Its ok to not appreciate the Bachelor at all yet get caught up in the trash that is Teen Mom 2.

Anxiety

Ive got it today.

BAD!

My lungs being damaged from chemo cause me to spend a little time a day on a breathing machine, and my kidneys being damaged is causing more dialysis... que the queasiness. I do not like dialysis. It is painful, disruptive and disorderly... my anxiety is through the roof knowing I will have to go do this. I know why but understanding it always is hard one.

For a long time I knew I had anxiety issues. When I was in school everything had to be perfect, I didn't like bad news, and Crowds freak me out. Now after going to college the crowd thing still creeps up on me but not as much... The perfection still there, and when things are not perfect or in an order I like I do get a little queasy. Bad news I think is normal for everyone.. No one likes it.

But anxiety does not stop with me in my family.

It also does not compare with the anxiety level as a member of my family.

My Mama gets it. Not so bad but she does.

My little sister gets it. 12 years old, it is a shame really.

The little sis plays the saxophone, does track, is an all A student and just recently decided to take a swing at golf. A talented, amazingly funny and sweet child who is crippled by anxiety. It is heartbreaking. She is washes her hands a million times never fully feeling they are clean. She checks her backpack not once but ten times a night making sure she has not forgotten anything. Now lets say she did forget or she lost something.. just for a moment. She vomits. That is how she deals.

My Mom has decided that it is time that this get checked out, and medicated.

I know it is normal to be anxious, but what she is going through is not.

We have set up a life that she can be sort of stress free.

-Her room is completely organized from roof to floor. Nothing is out of place.

-We have checklists by the door so she can see that she does or does not have everything.

-Soap is never bought in bars or bottles you physically have to move to get soap out of.

-She is on a tight schedule with all her activities and the schedule is printed and in a folder in her backpack.

With those being a few examples of how we have helped we hope that the level of her anxiety goes down.

As many of you know I started this blog just to start a blog. I started it and the name fit perfect. I was simple Simply. I love sunshine Sunshine and I adore daisies Daisies. But as my time with this blog and you guys grew I got cancer. Now I have had cancer before this.. no big deal but when it became a bigger fight then I truly knew how to deal with this blog was here and helped me through. I knew that the name needed to change.. it needed to fit me now.

A new URL will be coming soon so please be patient...
All blog comments will be answered from simplysunshineanddaisys.livkit@gmail.com however direct emails will be sent to a new one, and answered there.

So with the help of an amazing blog designer who is more than that to me.. Way more; she has become my best friend that I have never met, and a true confidant... the new blog was created.

Brea is a AMAZING designer. She is there when you need her, and makes sure you feel special in the process. She will rework a design until you are happy.. even if she hates it. She is affordable and flexible.. she works around switching her business and blog over to Word Press, being a mommy plus a homemaker and she is the S.O to a AWESOME military man so the woman is a SUPERHERO.

I am so thankful for the day I met her and I am even more thankful for the bond we have made and kept since that day.

You will not meet another designer half as kind, half as affordable, or half as talented as her... If you have not made your way over to her site.. I recommend you do.. You will not regret your choice.

Tough Day...

Hello Y'all ..

How are you guys?

Today was a tough day for 3 reasons.

The first which is not so important.. but I had chemo today. Chemo days suck. I hate them! They wear me out so much. I was put on a higher dosage and had to spend a little more time being sick then I want to .. but oh well.. It is my life..

The second thing is because of my chemo I had to go on oxygen. Any time I am on oxygen it is because chemo is killing my body and damaging my lungs. Makes me angry. I hurt and so the day is tough.

The third... is about my mother. Something you might not know about me is I am a horrible daughter! Gasp. I sucked all the calcium out of my poor Mama when she was pregnant with me that it messed up some of her teeth, and for most of my life she has tried to do things about it ... but more important things came up and she used that money for the important thing. Cancer addicted daughter over her. So I've been saving money for some time to just do something nice for myself with but I decided to gift my Mama with a new smile.. I told her about it last month during Christmas... I was not able to be with her today during the procedure but I am with her now. I LOVE my Mama more then anything and I am happy to give back to her. It was tough on my heart not being there for her that is why this is tough!

Ranch Parmesan Chicken

Ranch/ Parm Chicken

Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts

1/4 cup Ranch Dressing (Fat free)

2/3 cup panko (or bread crumbs, potato flakes ... etc.)

2/3 cup parmesan cheese

1 Tbsp dried basil

1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces

...

Directions:

1. Preheat over to 400 degrees.

2. Marinate the chicken in the ranch dressing, at least for a half hour.

3. In a shallow bowl combine the crushed crackers, parmesancheese and basil.

4. Dip the marinated chicken into the cracker mixture to coat.

5. Arrange chicken in a 9x13 baking dish, and place the pieces of butter on top of each piece of chicken.

6. Bake in preheated over for 25 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink and the juice run clear.

I love this recipe it is one of my all time favorites!

Hello my name is Olivia and I have an addiction or my body does, it has an addiction to CANCER.

I am 24 years old, and in my life I have encountered cervical, breast, ovarian, and uterine cancer. Recently I was informed that I had 2 tumors on my brain and that doctors would do everything they could to help ease me into more chemo and hopefully killing this parasite.

How do you celebrate such a time in your life? A time of youth, and the new year.

Well I do not know about how you guys would but I am going to...

Travel.. I have plans for the United Kingdom coming up this summer.

Drink wine. Lots and lots of wine.

Dance until my legs hurt.

Take 5 photos a day.

Write 1 blog post a day.

Cook more.

Bake more.

Craft more.

Exercise more. Because lets face it.. I am walking away from this... CANCER will NOT win. I will and when I do my body will be ready for whatever I put on it.

Ride a Roller Coaster until I throw up.

Be part of a flash mob.

Show off my glambition.. because I have loads of it.

Ride an elephant.

Making that list has made me think of the past and the woman I was before.. I had so many hopes and dreams before being sick and I have been sick for so long. Cancer has a way of sucking life right out of you and your loved ones. Never really taking it all but taking enough out of you to screw your hopes and dreams. I am not letting cancer make choices for me anymore... finding out that it had made its way to my ~~hard-drive~~ melon was too much. What more can this CANCER take? What more does it really want from me?

Have you ever woken up from a dream, and the dream felt so real that you were unsure if you were awake or not? That is what I feel everyday.. I am never quite sure if the happiness is real or not... I do know the pain is real.. oh boy do I know.

The pain is real, and the story I am put here to tell is. I have been dealing with this for a long time now and I am ready to tell you again that my cancer does not define me... but it has made me who I am today.

I pray all the time, and hardly ever for myself.

I leave notes of encouragement at the doctors office.

I spend way too much money. You can't take it with you you know.

I cry about anything, and everything.

I crochet and make no sew blankets for the cancer center in my local hospital.

Take movies, books, stuffed animals to the kids division. No one should have to go through what I do especially not a little child.

Thank you for your prayers, and I am going to try to keep this world up to date, and lively.

Hey you guys, Wow has it been a long time or what? ... My New Years started off well... a little ~~shitty~~ god awful bad but I am here and living it so that means it is great so far in my book! I had a splendid birthday, and got most of everything I wished for! Thank you all for the lovely wishes during that time.

So lets talk about today.. Today is Wednesday and on Wednesday most of the blogging world is doing What I am loving Wednesday and don't get me wrong.. I love that... but today I want to talk about what I am hating.. and so in my blog piece of the world.. It will be "What I am hating Wednesday"

I HATE cancer. It is awful, and it drains every fiber of my body of all good things. Except my heart which is filled with LOVE and the LORD and for that I am grateful.

I HATE election time. I mean honestly we are so screwed up in the nation that it is just like the Revolution, and that is what it is going to take to fix everything... a Revolution, a big huge change... We are being taxed out the butt and now they are trying to censor us like they do in other countries? What happened to being free? What happened to this is the reason our military, our husbands are fighting for?

I HATE dry cold weather... my skin is gross. TMI? Sorry

I HATE my hair!!!! I know I know I have cancer and for the few locks that are still holding on I am grateful.. but I hate it..

I HATE whiny husbands...

I HATE having a million and one cool fun ideas on things to make, cook, and sew on Pinterest .... none of it is going to get done!

So I made a recipe using baking soda, cornstarch and a little cornmeal! Oh.. and a little bit of coconut extra to give it a little zing and wonderful smell! ...

I made these recently.. and all you need to do is get some pretzels, kisses and mm's .. Wax paper on a baking sheet. Put pretzels and kisses on-top of each other on-top of the baking sheet. Slap them in the oven until kisses are melted. Top with the mm's

So.. What have I been doing?

I've been playing with My Memories Suite!

.... Um what is that you ask?

It is a digital scrapbooking software...

It is very easy to use and affordable. You can make the cutest things with it, and for the person who doesn't have the time to cut, glue and pretty things up this is the software for you. The software itself comes with a lot of free things, paper, embellishments and wordart but I did not find them overly cute or fancy. You will have to buy kits yourself for that.. and just a word of warning... the ONLY thing I did not like about this software is that if I bought a kit from another site the software will not hold them as embellishments .. you have to open the items as photos.. and while that is ok and it works that is only thing I didn't like about.

As far as digital scrapbooking software goes... I have never used another and so I really like it. I give 4 stars. It does not get 5 because of the obvious reasons stated above..

So.. the website offered me this product.. for an honest review.. and I have given it..

Hey....

I am usually not going to bitch about something more then once. It was the way I was raised. We were told to do something once... and well if it didn't get done.. You get the idea of what happened..

So me and my lovely blog designing blogger friend Brea were talking about something truly pisses me of...

No Reply Bloggers!

I have copied and pasted her message, at her allowing me to, about something that I have spoken about before but to just clarify..

I just want to start by saying that I respond to every comment. (Yes I read, and try to comment back to every single one!)

If you have never received a reply from me,

You might just be a "no-reply blogger".

What is a "no-reply blogger" ?

Here is an example:

1. Morgan leaves a comment on Utterly Chaotic Designs' blog.

2. Utterly Chaotic Designs has all her comments sent directly to her email.

3. Utterly Chaotic Designs checks her email and reads Morgan's comment. Utterly Chaotic Designs clicks reply.. and then it happens.

Up pops Morgan's name but instead of her email address, it say's

no-reply@blogger.com.

Grr!

4. Morgan doesn't have her e-mail address associated with her Blogger profile. Which means no one can reply to any of the comments or questions that she leaves.

I can't tell you how many times I have written a reply and then realized that I can't send it.. Most people don't even realize that they can't receive replies to comments, so don't worry! I'm going to help you fix it!

1. Click on the Dashboard link in the upper right hand corner

of your screen (or go here).

2. Click on Edit Profile, which is on the left hand side of the screen

next to your picture.

3. This will take you to the Edit User Profile screen.

4. Look in the Privacy section.

5. Check the box that says, "Show my e-mail address".

6. In the Identity section, enter in an e-mail address.

7. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on Save Profile.

If there is no email in that box or if you don't have the Show My Email Address box checked. You are a no-reply blogger.

Privacy can be an issue I guess.... but if you are truly worried about that.. Get a new one for your blog alone.

These Boots Were Made...

For Walking!

Hey guys...

I told you all that I would discuss some of the items I completed off my 101 in 1001. One of those items were finding the perfect pair of Cowboy Boots... Well I found them. While being sick I wasn't really able to go out and try any on... So I took a shot via Langstons and it worked amazing well. I normally would never buy boots online because boots are very unpredictable in my opinion but as I said I took a shot...

This is what I came out with.. and I LOVE them!

These are so cute, and comfy. Stylish and I have several opportunities to wear them which makes me smile.

I found it hard to pick between these two... but it just wasn't meant to be for them to come into my life.

They are too cute yes but I just wasn't in the mood with them...

These however... I love but it is a little obnoxious too.. haha

I hope you have loved this post on boots.

Halloween Week!---Day 4!

A "spooky" recipe...

Well I don't know many...

But I do know how to make candy corn bark.

24 ounces white chocolate morsels

3 cups broken chex

2 1/2 cups candy corn

Spray 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray.

Line pan with wax paper.

In a large microwavable bowl, microwave white chocolate on High 1 minute, 15 seconds, stir.

Continue microwaving and stirring in 15-second intervals until melted and smooth.

Stir in chex and 2 cups candy corn.

Spread mixture evenly in pan.

Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup candy corn evenly over top; press in lightly.

Let stand 1 hour or until completely cooled and set. Break into irregular 2- to 3-inch pieces. Store covered at room temperature.

I also found 2 from the "Crock Pot Girls" that I thought I would share!

Graveyard Goodies:

6-8 apples of your choice
Any chocolate for dipping
Caramel for dipping
Pretzel nuggets
Marshmallows of your choice
* Listed below are items we have chosen to garnish with! Be Creative!
Sprinkles
Candies and Cookies crushed
Chopped nuts
*Hint, it's nice to do this with more than 1 slow cooker. (We used three, 2quart slow cookers)
Preheat crock on high for about 30 minutes. Add chocolate and turn to low toprevent scorching. Do not cover. Stir frequently, until chocolate is melted.When melted, turn to warm. Repeat steps with the caramel, but add 2 Tbs. ofwater. Arrange sliced apples, pretzels, and marshmallows on a platter. Drizzlewith melted chocolate and caramel. Garnish with sprinkles, candies, and nuts.YUM, YUM!

Witches Brew:

1 tub lime sherbert
2 liters gingerale, sprite, or 7-up
gummy worms for garnish
Empty sherbert into a punch bowl. Pour liquid on top and garnish with worms.

Hello all you lovelies!!!

How are you today?

So just to let you know this is no longer http://simplysunshineanddaisys.blogspot.com but http://www.simplysunshineanddaisies.com ....

With the new name came a whole new blog design done by the amazing Brea! She is very talented and easy to work with. This is the third design I've had made by her, and each one just got better. I am truly loving this one the most! She does these blog designs because she loves it.... all while being an amazing Mom, and dealing with stresses of being a MIL-SOS. We have really connected over the past year that we have known each other, and I am thankful for her friendship. If you haven't checked out her website you might should.

Lets Talk About Bras...

Hey lovelies!

Lets talk about bras. Bras hold our girls! :)

This is October after all and all about our girls.

So ... a little bit to know about a Bra.

1. Wear 2 a week, and then retire those a week. Holding up your boobies is hard work, and a task for a well rested bra. (Therefore it is so ok to have a lot of undergarments)

2. Do not EVER dry your bras. This ruins the lace and elastic.. Which means your bras dont last long as long as they should. Hang them up to dry.

3. Try on a lot of different types of bras.. Just because it is your size doesnt mean it is made for you.

4. If your bra rides up your back it is too loose. A bra that is a perfect fit is a nice snug fit that makes a perfect line across your back.

5. If your cup is a little wrinkly .. come down a cup size. I know some brands offer half sizes.

So lets talk about some of my favorites now...

This one. Sometimes you dont need fancy to get the job done.

and this one. I love it because it feels nice, you can adjust the straps, and it is just so darn pretty.

Wow ...

It has almost been a whole year since I discovered I was infected.

I say infected because that is how I feel.

There are days when at the doctors office women ask me why I am in there, and they kind of shift over like I have an illness that can be caught.

I say infected because really I am...

This disease has truly infected me..

My life in many ways.

I am still sick, and I still have a long road to travel but I am getting there.. I still hurt after every treatment, and I still notice that my body does better with small dosage rather then the ones I get but I am reassured that it is all the best the way I am doing it. I am infected by the spirit of the Lord.. For without him I wouldn't be here typing this message to you... I wouldn't be strong or courageous. Id fall flat on my face. I notice days where I can hardly walk.. but with a hand at my back and a kiss on my heart I seem to be able to pull off things people tell me I shouldn't be able to.

I have had so many people tell me that Oh you are lying about your illness.. REALLY? Why would I? They say You are not sick enough.. Chemo drains you. It does drain me so much

... and

God pulls me along.. because he knows I cant be down for long, people need me, and I need to breath fresh air, do things and work. I am simply doing what I do best, and that is having faith. I deal with more cancer scares every doctors visit, and hair loss every shower... I have faith and faith alone keeps me able to move forward and no slack off... and to keep the people who love me updated...

Hello All!

My name is La Tache and you can find my life musings over at Smiling is Good for Your Teeth.

Olivia and I have been blogging buddies for a while now! We were drawn to each other because we were engaged at the same time and both to our handsome men in uniform. I have always enjoyed reading this blog – she is so versatile and has sweet things to say!

As I said, Olivia and I were engaged at the same time. My new husband and I joined in matrimony on May 29^th and it was such a magical day! We were married in a Catholic Church and with that said, we had to go through marriage counseling and marriage prep. Something that the priest who married us said, that I will never forget, is “Couple’s whose best day of their lives is their wedding day are in for it because every day should be better than the day before.” While our wedding day was magical and special and perfect, I have really taken to heart what the priest said on that Sunday in his office. My husband and I make sure that each day we are together is better than the last. {of course it is important to always remember the union and what brought the two of you together, but it is more important to make each day amazing and better than the one before}

You know you and your husband are a perfect match when…

…There is a no shoes policy in the house, you are about to walk out the door and you already put your shoes on, you are alone – and you still crawl on your hands and knees because you forgot something in the bedroom

…You go to the bathroom with the door open

…You have a spa day and your husband comes home to you in a mud mask, singing and dancing and he just laughs, kisses you and walks right by – and you can see the horror in his eyes and behind his timid laugh you know he loves you more than he did when he left

…You both aspire to fulfill the same life goals, and support each others individual goals

…He “toots” in front of you, looks around and asks, “there are ducks in the house?” or “oh man, the barking spiders are back”

…After you do the dishes he rubs your feet

…You have the same dreams...He works hard at school and your do everything you can to make life easier for him because you know he needs it

…When you don’t fall asleep at the same time but you wake up in each others arms, snuggling

…You both want to be together every moment of the day
